Andrea is one of the best Caribbean cooks in Whitehorse. It warms your heart and Soul. Eat at this restaurant and you’ll get the sense that you’re dining in a beach hut by the ocean: there are brightly colored walls, hand-carved sculptures and small palm plants growing in every corner.
The restaurant, named after the famed Jamaican hot sauce, is located directly opposite the Whitehorse Public Library on 2nd Ave.
Twenty years of living away from Jamaica was enough time for Andrea to feel like she needed to recreate her island home in Whitehorse.
So she opened a restaurant where she could share the food she grew up on with others.
At -40 you feel like you are in Jamaica or any island paradise for that matter.
